2004 Pen of the Year - Amber

With a barrel made of amber and platinized metal, the 2004 Pen of the Year was manufactured by the masters of the craft: The workshop at Tsarskoye Selo (Pushkin), who spent 21 years reconstructing the St. Petersburg Amber Room, piece by piece and layer by layer. The master craftsman and head of the workshop, Boris Igdalov, personally took on the task of creating the pen. The individually numbered pens are presented in an exclusive wooden case with an amber ‘eye’ and accompanied by a valuable brochure. A certificate is included which bears the personal signature of Boris Igdalov, assuring that the pen was produced in the St Petersburg amber workshop and for a limited period only.
